Earth Observation Data for Epidemic Management (EODEM)

Previous experience with using Earth Observation (EO) data for monitoring and mitigating the spread of the Ebola virus shows that EO data can be an important tool in the response to global pandemics such as COVID-19. Indeed, in the European Union, Copernicus data is already being used to monitor the various effects of COVID-19 and the response to it.
